BUCS LEAD 2016
This is the first official BUCS Lead competition! There’s no pressure, we just want to have a fun couple of days climbing and experience a lead climbing competition. Just try your best! There will be a speed climbing competition as well.
The competition will be held at awesome walls in Sheffield (http://www.awesomewalls.co.uk/climbing-centres/sheffield/sheffield-overview-page). We will leave Southampton around 4pm on Tuesday 22nd, drive up to Sheffield and stay in an airbnb overnight (https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/7235019?checkin=22-11-2016&checkout=23-11-2016&guests=9&s=nNaqkgV_). We will spend the Wednesday morning/afternoon competing and come back to Southampton Wednesday night, probably arriving quite late. There is no cost for the competition or the accommodation, however you will need to bring/buy your own food; there is a kitchen at the airbnb and we can stop at a supermarket on the way.
